I guess when you have recently had stitches removed from your chest and under your neck, laying flat in a cool spring-fed stream must feel pretty darned good. Can you see Maggie?

  1. What a dog’s life. I imagine that with the folks that take care of her plus being able to run the Preserve, Maggie’s got to be a multi-millionaire in dog’s terms. She’s got it made.

  2. Walk, some years ago, a red-haired state senator bought a puppy from a litter of 8 that our late-great Amanda Blackvelvet had. Before leaving with his new pup, he drawled, “When I die, I want to come back as one of Westmark’s dogs.”
