Guests (good people, interesting people) are coming for lunch. I want to continue to sit in my early morning space and catch up on my blog friends’ words and worlds. But I have to mop the kitchen floor, grill chicken breasts, make a cannellini bean salad, wash the baby salad greens, and make some iced tea. Buck will get up soon and complete his own set of chores. Then we’ll sing in the double-headed shower together, greet our guests as they wind their way to our gate from the airport, and settle in for a couple of hours of good talk. I like it when the house shines, and the walls vibrate with ideas.
