The Steve Jobs Star Gleams Bright Tonight

Steve Jobs:  1955-2011  “When he shall die take him and cut him out into stars and he shall make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun.”

This quote from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet was quoted by the late Robert Kennedy to honor his assassinated brother, President John F. Kennedy. I thought of it just moments ago upon hearing the news of Steve Jobs’s death.

  1. Ironically–or perhaps fittingly–I was reading my “iPad for Dummies” book and in a state of wonderment at this thin, lightweight object on my lap when I heard he news of Jobs’ death.
