Preview Photo Sampler from Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce

“It was a pretty bold thing we did, to just throw our bags in the car and haul ass across the country.”  Buck Westmark, 5-14-2012

  1. I’ve never been to Utah, but I have seen the Grand Canyon, and I’d venture to say that there’s absolutely nothing like it. It looks like you’re having the best of times — how adventurous!

    1. I never had, either, Elizabeth, and was blown away by the number of national and state parks there and how varied and spectacular they are.

    1. Bryce’s shuttle bus system was just starting up the day we left, but we used the one at Zion and Grand Canyon to get to trailheads. I was intimidated by the idea of a shuttle system at first, but gosh, they’re great. Clean, quiet, and easy to figure out.

    2. I’d love to stay at the lodge in Zion for a month, just to lay on the lush grass in the clearing, read, write, and eat grilled fish at the Red Rock cafe’s outdoor dining deck every evening.
