From Old Notebooks

I just ordered From Old Notebooks by Evan Lavender-Smith from Dzanc Books and have just begun reading the electronic version which Dan Wickett was so kind to send me while I wait for the bound copy to arrive. Looks like a fascinating read.

Do you — as do I — at year’s end go through your various journals, notebooks, and scraps of paper stuck in drawers and either toss it, say, “Hmmn, this looks interesting, I was wondering what I did with that, glad to find it,” or — as in the following — have absolutely no recollection of the scribble and wonder what on earth you might have been thinking?

They sound like a rather sweet bunch, actually.
